Endodontist
The Endodontist specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions of the dental pulp and root tissues. As a key provider in our office, the Endodontist delivers exceptional patient care, from assessment to post-treatment follow-up, ensuring a high standard of precision, empathy, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Perform root canals, endodontic surgeries, and other advanced procedures, accurately diagnosing issues and developing treatment plans.
Use state-of-the-art technology, including cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and dental microscopes, to conduct thorough examinations and enhance precision during procedures.
Communicate with patients to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and address questions, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed.
Collaborate with the Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator to review treatment plans, follow-up protocols, and scheduling needs.
Be involved in marketing campaigns, including meeting referring dentists and dental offices, as well as participating in video production for social media ads.
Participate in team-building, training, conferences, and study clubs as part of professional development and team exercises, including occasional after-hours events.
Be available to take emergency and post-op calls for patients, ensuring continuity of care and support.
Maintain patient records accurately and timely, noting procedures, recommendations, and follow-ups.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in endodontics through continuing education, workshops, and research.
Required Skills and Experience
DDS or DMD degree with a specialization in Endodontics.
State licensure as an Endodontist, with a current, valid certificate to practice in the State of Colorado.
Exceptional technical skills and knowledge of endodontic equipment and technology.
Excellent communication and patient-relations skills to provide compassionate, clear, and confident care.
